PJR died due to seviour heart attack.

Senior Congress Leader and MLA from Khairathabad Assembly Constituency P Janardhan Reddy died of heart attack. He is reported to hall falled down when stepping into his car. He is immediately rished to the KIMS but is believed to have breathed his last on way. The doctors confirmed his death. PJR is a diabetic. Senior Congress Leaders expressed shock at the news. Few leaders rushed to the KIMS Hospital itself while others begam arriving at PJRs home. Hyderabadis in large numbers began to arrive at the house of PJR. Shops of all sizes in the twin cities are downed today.
Popular as PJR, Janardhan Reddy is known for expressing his views pretty straightforward. PJR is a native of Hyderabad and was born on January 12, 1948 at Domalguda. He is elected to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for five terms - 1978, 1985, 1989, 1994, 2004. A well known trade union leader, PJR represented many industrial trade unions before entering into mainstream politics. He worked as the Supervisor in AP Electrical Equipment Corporation, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad, as President, Associated Glass Industries Workers Union, as President, A.P. Electrical Equipment Corporation Employees Union, as President, A.P. Agro Industries Employees Union and as President, Krishi Engines..
PJR helped the Andhra Pradesh State Congress get a strong hold not only in Hyderabad but in Andhra Pradesh too. He led the Congress Party in the position of CLP Leader when the Telugu Desam Party was in power. He actively fought for a fair share of funds for the Telangana region. He is in close friendship with fellow Congressman and Sanathnagar MLA Marri Sasidhar Reddy, along with whom PJR used to raise dissatisfaction at the development works for Telangana. Hyderabadis can never forget his efforts to get water for the region. PJR is considered as an icon for the down trodden in the region.
